In generally, Time is a measurement what the clock reads. In non relativistic physics or Newtonian classical mechanics time is considered as absolute time which is also called Newtonian time.
But with the discovery of theory of relativity, relativistic time is emerged. In that case some phenomena are taken into consideration, such as time dilation for fast moving object and gravitational time dilation for object in extreme gravitational field and time is considered as space-time.
